This year the main guest of "KTU Career
Days 2011" Afterparty - progressive THOMAS MULLER, representing the famous
German record label "BPitch Control". Collaborative records and continuous
performances with electronic music stars like Ellen Allien, Apparat and Paul
Kalkbrenner determines the current light-speed growth of the artist's
popularity. Having performed in nearly all continents already, on March 19
Thomas Muller will delight the Lithuanian audience.
Born and raised in the Paris Bohemia,
Thomas Muller is capable of masterfully wrapping his works with subtle French
aura and obtaining unexpected, mildly hypnotizing sounds that charm the
listener due to being clear and natural. "I enjoy creating music without any
real musical instrument simply by directly putting my thoughts from one virtual
from to another with the help of sound waves" - said Thomas Muller during one
interview. This charming Frenchman, having promptly taken over the dance floors
of top Berlin clubs and astonished Ellen
Allien by his talent is presenting live programme in Kaunas this spring.
At "KTU Career Days 2011" Afterparty with
Thomas Muller the participants will be able to rejoice with one of the
brightest and most desirable Lithuanian electronic music artists LEON SOMOV,
who will be performing in a duo with FEW NOLDER. Titled as the Lithuanian
electronic music ambassador, with the help of his melodic improvisations,
minimal and subtle rhythm the latter artist was able to conquer not only the
Lithuanian audience, but the hearts of listeners abroad as well - since 2008
the records of Few Nolder are released by one of most important Great Britain
electronic music record label "Planet µ Records".
Together with Leon Somov and Few Nolder, the
atmosphere of the party will be heated by the rebellious electronic music
hooligan group "METAL ON METAL" member KYM WILD. And, of course, what party it would
be without "KTU Career Days" Afterparty veterans - PARTYZANAI: MANTAS T.,
GVIDAS and CALLI. What is more, the VJs ORO PAGALVĖS will appear in the party as well.
Instead of letting the rampant electro rhythms
tremble the walls of clubs that we are fed up with, this year the organizers of
"KTU Career Days 2011" Afterparty have committed to revive one of the most
interesting industrial spaces of Kaunas - the former quarters of "LITUANICA"
FACTORY. For one night the legendary "Lituanica" will transform into a musical
fortress with walls impenetrable to everyday routine and rough, unpolished
areas.
